Preheat the grill: Before grilling, rinse the grill with running water and then dry it with a tissue. Next, heat up the charcoal stove in advance and place the grill mesh on the stove to achieve the best grilling effect on the surface of the grill mesh.
Applying oil: During the heating process, you can use meat skin to wipe the grill net, or use a barbecue clip to hold a kitchen paper towel soaked in oil to wipe the grill net. This can prevent the grill net from rusting and increase the non stickiness of the food.
Barbecue process: Place the food on a preheated grill and grill it. Depending on the type and thickness of the food, flip it over in a timely manner to ensure even heating. Grilled mesh is suitable for various meats, vegetables, fungi, seafood and other delicacies.
Cleaning and maintenance: After grilling, remove the grill net and soak it in warm water for 10 minutes (cleaning agent can be added), then use a steel wire ball to scrub it clean until the black substance is completely removed. Finally, wipe dry with a tissue, place on a warm barbecue grill to dry, and apply a small amount of oil on the grill to avoid rusting.
Different types of baking nets and their characteristics:
Disposable barbecue net: usually made of galvanized iron wire, with smooth edges that do not scratch hands, suitable for various outdoor activities, easy to use but not reusable.
Stainless steel barbecue net: welded onto a stainless steel frame with stainless steel wire mesh, polished, and characterized by high temperature resistance, no deformation, and a smooth and shiny surface, suitable for long-term use.
Iron wire baking mesh: Common processing methods include chrome plating, nickel plating, enamel coating, etc. Enamel coating can withstand high temperatures up to 800 degrees, but enamel coating is prone to explosion.
Stamped iron plate baking net: made of iron plate stamping, with enamel treatment on the surface, cost-effective, but the corners and edges are prone to rusting.
Cast iron grill mesh: The heating and heat release process is slow, and it can create beautiful grill mesh marks on grilled meat. It is commonly used in mid to high end gas ovens.
